Royal Rumble In Thailand As King’s Girlfriend Is Stripped

Sineenat Wongvajirapakdi, the girlfriend of the King of Thailand, Vajiralongkorn, has been stripped of her titles as a royal consort, just four months after being elevated to the position.
Before she was given the royal title in a fanfare ceremony in July this year, Sineenat was a close friend and confidant of the King long before he ascended the throne in 2016, after his father's death.

The King has four wives before Sineenat, a trained pilot, a major general, nurse and a bodyguard, was made a Royal Noble Consort on the order of the King.

Perhaps, Sineenat, was too much in a hurry to become the King's wife number five - and therefore a Queen - as "ambitious," which was regard by the King as "disrespectful" and "disloyalty," was given as reason for stripping Sineenat of her royal titles and privileges she had barely enjoyed for four months.
