The State Relief Materials received last Monday on behalf of Etsako East local government area by the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi, were today shared among the 10 Wards and the traditional institutions in the council area.
In her remarks, the Executive Chairman harped on the need to ensure by the Ward and Traditional Institution representatives receiving the materials that the items get to the "poorest of the poor" in the local government area for whom they were meant to assuage their pains brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

It would be recalled that last Monday, Etsako East received the following relief materials from the state government: 199 bags of 10kg rice, 167 bags of 5kg garri, 223 bags of 10kg beans, 260 cartons of indomie noodles, and three bags of millet.
Out of these items, the traditional rulers shared 33 bags of rice, 28 bags of beans, 37 bags of garri, 43 cartons of indomie, and one bag millet.

The 10 Wards, represented by the Ward Chairmen, Councillors and state SAs, each got 19 bags of rice, 22 bags of beans, 14 bags of garri, and 25 cartons of Indomie for onward distribution to the people of their various Wards.
