The Executive Chairman stated this in her message to the people to mark the 60th anniversary of Nigeria's Independence from the British colonialists on October 1, 1960. "Freedom is sweet, which is what independence is all about; and nations had gone to wars over it but thankfully, we got our Independence not through the barrel of the gun but on a negotiation table," Hon.
