The Executive Chairman of Etsako East local government area, Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi, has congratulated Governor Godwin Obaseki on his resounding victory in the Edo state governorship election held yesterday.
In the congratulatory message personally signed by her, the Etsako East helmswoman said she was never in doubt that victory would come the way of the Wake and See Governor of Edo state, His Excellency, Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki and his dependable deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, because according to her, "Your good works in the state stand you in good stead for a well deserved second term of office."
Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi, who has consistently maintained her trust in God that Governor Godwin Obaseki would triumph in the governorship election despite the obstacles thrown on his path by those who were hellbent on frustrating him out APC they see as their personal estate, said such detractors never reckoned with God.

"But today, the Lord, Who knows everything, has spoken. And there is no question any more about who is in charge of Edo state," the erudite amazon of Edo politics stated in her congratulatory message to the Governor.
"Your Excellency, you proved through Edo people that only God has the final say.
"You have fought an epic battle. And the Lord has delivered your enemies into your hands".
"Now is the time to take Edo state to the next level and reassure the people of Edo state that they never made a mistake by reposing their trust in you."
Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi ended her message with a verse from the Holy Book: "O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory." - Psalm 98:1
