Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi Congratulates Police Trainees On Course Completion …pays for their transportation back home

The Executive Chairman of Etsako East local government area, Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi, has congratulated Community Police trainees from the council area who have successfully completed the training program which was organised by the Edo state government as part of efforts to improve security in the state.
Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi, who was represented at the passing out ceremony by the Director of Social Development, Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, Alhaji Mohammed Sedenu, in her message, said she was proud of them for not only “successfully completing the training, but also for being good ambassadors of the local government throughout the duration of the training program,” adding, “For this display of exemplary good conduct during the training, I have offset the cost of your transportation back home.”
It would be recalled that last month in the course of the training, the number one citizen of Etsako East sent a cash gift of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000.00) through Alhaji Mohammed Sedenu, to the trainees to augment their feeding and other logistics throughout the duration of the training at the Police College, Ogida, Benin City, Edo state.
The state governor, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki, has also extended the state government’s health and life insurance scheme to the entire trainees. According to reports, “Obaseki disclosed this at the Passing Out Parade of 877 Special Constables under the Community Police Project, at the Police Training School, Ogida, Benin City.
