Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi Gives Food Items, Cash To The Physically Challenged

The Executive Chairman of Etsako East local government area, Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi, has presented food items and cash to the physically challenged, even as she promised to empower some of them.

She presented the food items ranging from bags of garri and corn to cartons of indomie noodles as well as fifty thousand Naira (N50,000.00) when she paid a visit to the physically challenged persons at Okugbe-Okpella today, November 26, 2020.

The Council Boss also promised to assist at least one of those of them who already have shops to stock it, while appealing to others to be patient as lack of funds is a hindrance to empowering most or all of them despite her burning desire to do so.

"I want to appeal to those of you who may not receive direct assistance from me now to be patient. We have to be doing this one after the other because there is no enough money to be able to attend to you all at once," Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi to told the visibly happy aged and young physically challenged people.

"I want to assure you that before Christmas I will help to stock the shop of one of you who already has a shop."

While thanking the Executive Chairman for not just remembering them but also creating time out of her busy schedule to come and sit with them to rub minds - a trait they said is rare in people in her position - they prayed for her wellbeing and the fulfillment of her desires by God.

Princess Benedicta Ebuehi left office as the Executive Chairman of Etsako East local government area, a position she stepped into when the then helmsman, Aremiyau Momoh (Mbakwe), under whom she was the vice chairman, was removed from office by the state government two years into the three-year tenure.
