Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi Tackles Coronavirus

Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi, Executive Chairman of Etsako East local government area has taken steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus to the council area by embarking on awareness campaign.
The enlightenment exercise started yesterday when she, accompanied by management staff of the council visited the popular Agenebode market to sensitize people about the pandemic virus blowing across the world.
The Executive Chairman gave out hand gloves and saniters to the people even as she educated them on tips to observe to avoid contracting the virus.
"You must wash your hands with soap and water regularly, may be every five or ten minutes. When you use the ATM, wash your hands; when you transact business involving giving and receiving of money, you wash your hands, Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi to the people.
"Avoid sitting very close to each other in large numbers. When you want to cough, use the inner part of your elbow to cover your mouth. Do not sneeze or cough directly at people. You should use handkerchief or any other material to cover your nose and mouth as you sneeze."
The Executive Chairman also advised the people against allowing their children to attend private lessons at home, since according to her, all public and private schools had been shut down to protect the children from contracting the virus.
As she moved from one part of tbe market to another, Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi was dispensing sanitizer on people's palms to rub on theirs hands to keep them from getting the virus, even as she repeatedly advised the people on the importance of washing hands regularly with soap and water and not to touch their eyes, nose and mouth with their unwashed hands, as that was one of the quickest ways of being infested with the virus.
