Iviukwe Union Honours Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi With Leadership Award

Hon. (Mrs) Benedicta Ebuehi receives the Leadership Award from Mr Garvis Asemokha

The Executive Chairman of Etsako East local government area, Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi, has been honoured with an award for her diligent work in the Council area.
The award was presented to her in her office last Thursday by the Iviukwe Community Progressive Union, Worldwide.
Receiving the award, the Executive Chairman thanked the Union for their appreciation of the work she was doing, adding that in some cases, she turned down offers of awards from some groups and organizations because "the first thing I will ask is why are you giving me an award?

But this award is from the people of my constituency who know what I am doing in the local government area and I therefore receive this award with great pleasure. Thank you very much"
The five-member delegation that paid the courtey visit to the Executive Chairman to present the "Leadership Award" in recognition of her "Commitment to the advancement of our society," was made up of Mr Garvis Asemokha, Peter Iyenagbe, Evang. Isah Adidih, David Ethakpemhi, Anthony Oshogwe, and Michael Imhobekha.

Pa. Akubo Yakubu Esuka was born to the family of Mr. Esuka and Madam Ogenikho about 104 years ago in Imiegba. Princess Benedicta Ebuehi left office as the Executive Chairman of Etsako East local government area, a position she stepped into when the then helmsman, Aremiyau Momoh (Mbakwe), under whom she was the vice chairman, was removed from office by the state government two years into the three-year tenure.
