It has come to light that girls as young as nine years are seeking unusual surgery not for life-threatening ailments but on their vaginas because they don't like the the shape and appearance of their genitals.
In a report carried by the BBC, "Girls as young as nine are seeking surgery on their genitals because they are distressed by its appearance, the Victoria Derbyshire show has been told."
