*More than 100 journalists have been killed in Mexico since 2000, rights groups say
The rate at which Journalists are being killed in Mexico, they will sooner go out of existence than expected if nothing is done to check the grave calamity facing the practitioners of the pen profession.
Seven are said to have been murdered in Mexico this year alone, according to a report carried by BBC.
"One was killed while resting in a hammock at a car-wash. A second was dragged from his car and shot dead near the newspaper he had co-founded. When another was killed in front of her son, the criminals left a note: "For your long tongue"."
